Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the doctor, along with Thelma Henson, the homewife she was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. As a teenager, she was an expert pianist and took home a national contest at the Chicago Music Festival when she was only 13 years old. In Fort Collins, Colorado she moved in with her family. She finished the high school in Fort Collins High School and graduated in 1960. To improve her professional prospects she relocated to Los Angeles.
